I am still in shock that you like American football! ARGH
Whyyyyyyyyy?
P.S. Yes I hear Battlestar is pretty good.
I know, I know! I also like the CFL of late. It's more exciting, but the players just lack the talent these backet weaving grads from US universities have. NFL can be exciting if well played, but it can also be very boring and very annoying when they do their stupid antics when they score.
At least they're not as bad as basketball players. "YEAH I JUST SCORED 2 POINTS. IT'S EQUIVALENT TO 1% OF THE FINAL SCORE!"
As you probably know I'm a faithful Grey's Anatomy watcher and Desperate Housewives (not as good as the 1st season, however). Everything else I watch (which is not much) is just filler.
I love CFL, and actually watched the Grey Cup...I grew up in Aussieland, so for me football means RUGBY, a real sport. Yankee football is slow and boring (god, trying watching a game at the stadium...what the hell is a TV timeout???) CFL was faster, there's nothing called 'play in motion'...blah...
Battlestar Galactica is the best show on TV. Period.
Do yourself a favour and get BSG season's 1 and 2. Awesome stuff, and you'll really like the socio-political commentary - easily the best show on tv.
If you hadn't mentioned "24", this would have been my last reading. But you are forgiven for not adding "The Shield" - I think you might like it. It is a fantastic show, and has yet to lose its "indie" feel.
You might want to check out "Entourage" too.
